Sarah has had ten years combined experience as a Teacher and School Counsellor, holding both educational (Postgrad Dip Ed) and psychological qualifications, receiving First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) degree. Sarah has recently completed a research study exploring the discourses related to the education of young boys in the early primary school setting
Having worked for many years in the school system, Sarah is skilled in collaborating with all the stakeholders involved in intervention for children, adolescents and their families. Her experience includes providing counselling intervention to children, parents and teachers. She has also conducted one-on-one and small group targeted educational and social-emotional interventions for disorders such as: Anxiety; Depression; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Sarah is passionate about working with children, adolescents and their families to assist them in reaching their potential and to see their strengths and qualities.
