What ages do you see?

All ages.

Aspiration Education and Development Clinic specialises in early intervention and child psychology; however, we do provide a wide range of professional services for all age groups.

Do I need a doctor's referral to make an appointment?

No.

Referrals are not required if you would like to book a consultation with us.

However, if you wish to utilise the various government funding options, including the Medicare rebate, a GP referral is required.

How much does AEDC charge for a consultation?

Fees vary depending on the components of the assessment (e.g. Psychological Assessment, Educational Assessment) therapy or general consultation.

A standard consultation is $190 – $230 per hour (below the recommended scheduled fee set by the Australian Psychological Society).

How long does an appointment last for?

Depending on your individual situation, a standard consultation will typically last for 60 minutes. Some other services, including diagnostic assessments, may go for a longer period of time.

What is your cancellation policy?

For a short notice cancellation or no show (0-48 hours), AEDC can charge 100% of the fee associated with the service.

How do I get a Mental Health Care Plan?

If you want to utilise the Medicare rebate you will need to see your doctor who can write out the required plan.

Please note that Medicare rebates do not apply with some practitioners and services at AEDC including social skills programs. Please contact us for further information.

Can I use my private health fund?

Yes.

We are registered with most health funds (e.g. Medibank, HCF, Bupa), who offer rebates depending on your level of coverage. Please contact your fund to find out your level of cover.

Where can I find all of AEDC's policies and procedures?

All of our policies and procedures, including complaint management and consent policies, are available to view at reception. Please speak with reception if you would like to view a policy or procedure.

How do I leave feedback?

There are several ways to leave us feedback regarding our services.

In Person:

* Speak with reception to acquire a feedback form
* Use our suggestion box located at the clinic to leave anonymous feedback

Online:

* Use our online feedback form, which you can find here. You can also choose to remain anonymous.

Do you have parking facilities?

Yes.
