Daphne completed her undergraduate in psychology and pursued a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Having lived in Singapore for most of her educational years, Daphne understands the impacts that social skills and mental wellbeing can have on life. She struggled with anxiety herself during her early years, and knows how important a safe space is for children. She is passionate about teaching children social skills through various programs which focuses on recognising their emotions, along with learning and applying these skills in an everyday context. Daphne also believes that you can’t help a child unless you work with their parents and her goal is to work collaboratively with families to help them achieve their best.
Daphne has worked in the mental health field for a number of years now supporting those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and many other complex mental health needs. She also has experience as a group facilitator working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. Daphne has previously facilitated running Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Homework Organisation and Planning Skills (HOPS), and Secret Agent Society (SAS) group programs. She is also trained in the Cool Kids Program.
